Coaches and Umpires are an integral part of our club foundrations. WNC is looking for enthusiastic people who are a good cultural fit, to join our club in these roles for the upcoming season.

Coaching

Are you passionate about netball and looking to make an impact? Walkerville Netball Club is seeking enthusiastic coaches to join our club for the 2025 winter season.

Whether you’re an experienced coach or just starting, we’d love to have you on board!

Honorarium payments: Coaches receive an honorarium for their time and commitment to training and games. Payments are tiered based on accreditation levels and paid in full at the end of the season.

We’re seeking coaches with:

A passion for netball and player development
Strong leadership and communication skills
Enthusiasm and a positive attitude

If you’re new to coaching, we also welcome assistant coaches, or those interested in shadowing an experienced coach. Joint coaching with a friend is an option, with honorarium payments split accordingly.

Umpiring

Would you like to umpire for Walkerville Netball Club? We would love to have you join our team of dedicated officials! Umpiring is an integral part of our club, and we value the contribution of all our umpires in fostering a fair and enjoyable game environment.

Why umpire for Walkerville Netball Club?

At WNC, we offer our umpires:

Honorarium payments: Umpires are paid for their time and commitment during training sessions, trials and games. Payments are tiered based on accreditation levels.
Training and Support: If you’re new to umpiring, we’ll support you through our Coloured Shirt Umpire Program (CSP). This program provides extensive training, mentoring, and game-day support to help you build your confidence and skills as an official.

Umpire training & development

Our coloured shirt umpire program is designed for those who want to learn and develop as umpires. Open to individuals of all experience levels, the program includes:

In-depth training: Learn the rules of the game and how to apply them effectively.
Practical experience: Gain hands-on experience officiating games with the guidance of experienced mentors.
Ongoing support: Receive constructive feedback and support to refine your skills throughout the season.
